## F Value Calculator Online

Use this calculator to calculate the critical F value of the F distribution for various levels of significance and degrees of freedom.

Fα at a given level of significance (α) is the critical value on the F distribution such that the area on it's right is equal to α.

For example, if α is 0.05, which means a 95% level of confidence, then the area on the right of the distributon from the F value onwards will be 0.05.

To calculate the critical F value, you need to enter the level of significance (alpha), degrees of freedom of the numerator and degrees of freedom of the denominator.

# Inputs

Please enter all parameter values. The calculations are automatic and real-time.

This is the first degree of freedom associated with the numerator.

This is the second degree of freedom associated with the denominator.

The alpha value or the level of significance is the probability value between 0 and 1. Conventionally this value is below 0.05 for it to be statistically significant.
